How can I convert video cassette tapes to digital without the original camera?

I have a CCD-FX310 Sony Video 8 Handycam bought in early 1990s. When we have tried to replay the tapes on the camera the screen on the camera is grey and the picture is noisy on the TV. I want to convert these tapes to digital but I think the camera is broken. I am wondering if there is a good way to convert these or perhaps even “clean” the camera. If anyone has any ideas that would be great. I don’t have a VCR player either.

How do I get video from my computer back to my camcorder?

This probably sounds really ridiculous, but I need to put a video I edited with Windows MovieMaker back onto my camcorder (Sony HandyCam model DCR-HC21), and I’ve tried pretty much everything. I have a week to figure this out before I present it as a project in school. Anyone know what to do?

Why does any video editor I use freeze during the editing process?

Specifically, the video freezes not the audio. I have downloaded different editors until I could find one that didn’t freeze. I even have the full version of of Sony Vegas 8.0 and its the best and it freezes audio runs smooth.

If you do happen to have the PS3 no video problem, one possibility is that it’s due to your console overheating. That being said, if you do have this problem, then most likely there’s something wrong with your PlayStation 3. Listed below are some tips on how you can go about getting this fixed.

1) Turn off your console and let it rest for about 30 minutes. After this, you can turn it back on.

2) Check for any loose cables. If there are any, make sure to plug them back in. Also, if you notice any dust buildup within the connections, get rid of it.

3) Turn off your PS3 and unplug all the cables. Once done, simply plug them back in again.

Send PlayStation 3 Back To Sony

With this option, you can send your console back to Sony and have them repair it for you. Keep in mind though that this process can be quite time consuming. It can take up to several weeks before Sony sends your console back. Also note that if your warranty is no longer valid, it’s going to cost you $150 for the repair.

How do you save and edit a home video to your computer?

WE have this home video that we really like to send to out family members over e mail. We got to the part were we can watch the videos but we can’t save them to our computer. Also we would like to have music and edit them a bit but we don’t know how. I dont know what out camera is all called but it is a sony video camera. All i know is that it hold the mini . When I upload my camera videos to Sony Vegas 7.0 they are only sound and not a video?

When I try to import my camera videos into Sony Vegas 7.0 they never have video only sound and I usually have to render them with a different program before I can put them in Sony Vegas, but this takes longer and lowers the quality? How can I fix this?

The type of the video is a video clip or a mvi If i need to download something where can I do this?

I’ve been having a hard time with sony vegas because some of my videos doesn’t properly on it. I wanted to use those videos but whenever I import the video, the quality is ruined. I couldn’t even see the video because of the errors.
