There are a number of different opinions about what are the best video games, and every person has a preference for which type they enjoy most. The truth is that certain types of video games make it to the top of the list when it comes to popularity and it simply doesn’t matter which type of gaming system that are made for.

Perhaps the most favored style of video game in the industry is the type of game know as First Person Shooter video games. The player acts as the major character in the story in these types of games and feels as though he is a part of everything he sees. Often times there is a high level of action and plenty of decision making moments in these type of games so it is important that players are able to make good, quick decisions, and think critically during every scenario. These types of games give players the impression that they are part of the action.

One popular type of game that many enjoy playing is Role Playing video games which are made to put players in situations where they have to make a critical decision about what action to take. In many cases the goal of the Role Playing video game is to earn a certain amount of money, acquire a certain amount of stuff, or accomplish a certain amount of goals, or accomplish any other type of objective worth accomplishing. In the end, if you are the one with the most money, most property, or whatever the objective requires, then you are the winner.

Racing games are yet another very popular type of video game that millions enjoy playing. You’ll find that racing games involve pretty much any mode of transportation that you can possibly imagine including boats, four wheelers, dirt bikes, and more. Any vehicle that is drivable can be included in a racing game in some way or another and as long as it has wheels, the chances are pretty good that it has already been included in one racing game or another.

Finally, one other type of video game that is simulation games which provide the player with the experience of actually operating some type of vehicle whether it be a helicopter, airplane, tank, or boat. You might find that one of the most regarded of all simulation games is the game that allows you to experience airplane flight.
