Is there a free video editing software that can remove letterboxing?
I have captured video from VHS to AVI using a Dazzle USB device & Pinnacle video capture software. The video is a 4:3 image with letterboxing which I would like to remove for viewing on my widescreen monitor. The Pinnacle software doesn’t seem to have a working function to do this, and I would prefer not to pay for another video editing software for this one function. Are there any freeware or shareware programs available that can do this without much difficulty?
