Video Marketing in Your MLM Business – Three Goals For Success

Social video platforms have exploded over the past few years. The bigger players are continuing to gobble up the little guys, but they need a bigger appetite to do that now than in the past. There are hundreds upon hundreds of video sharing sites that will allow you to put yourself, your life, and your network marketing business online with no delay in your message or censoring of your content. You are your own creative director, producer, editor, and cameraman. Given this autonomy and exposure, what is the purpose behind it all?

This is a simple one to answer: The purpose is exposure to drive traffic to a commerce site where decisions will be made that will cause money to change hands. Those who have found a way to harness the power of the Internet’s stealth weapon, video, will find themselves with a sizable income if they choose to execute a workable plan to its natural end. The purpose behind it all as seen in the desired result is clear, but the fuzziness comes in how to get it done.

Here are three things that you want to do to create a successful video for the purpose of leading someone to make a buying decision.

1. Rule number one is that people buy from people in network marketing and not from organizations. When this principal is internalized, the tone and quality of your video work will change. The psychology that goes into creating this kind of video is one that is intended to build trust, to bridge the gap between the mind of the seller and that of the prospect. If this can be done, more than half of the challenge is met.

2. Rule number two is that your videos for your network marketing business need to be timely. If there is something going on in the news, it needs to be addressed, as best that it can, in your video. This recency will assure you that your viewers are looking for what you are making videos about. This contemporary content will help to build trust in that it creates an attitude of community in the mind of the viewer. “We’re all in this together.” Maybe yes, but maybe no. The point is not that you are, but that there is a perception that you and your prospect. This perception is a powerful thing.

3. Rule number three is that videos are forever. Once they are posted, they are posted until the end of time. This permanence allows people to search for you in the years to come without you ever having to go to the keyboard to do the same work all over again.

Videos absolutely, positively have to be present in your online Internet marketing campaign. They will market and prospect for you when you are asleep or at work. This is a great thing about network marketing: You don’t have to do all of the work yourself. Let someone else carry the burden when you find yourself being drawn in six different directions when the kids get home from school.

Videos are a time that have long sense come and gone. Where will you spend the next few years?
