Network Marketing Leads
There are two things needed to succeed in network marketing; sales skills and leads. Sales skills are easily learned and I’ll save that for another article. For now let’s talk about leads. Many would say, and I agree, that leads are the single most important key to a growing a successful network marketing business. If you have good leads you are almost guaranteed to make it big.
Here’s the rub, you can’t buy good leads. Leads purchased through a lead broker, no matter what you pay for them are uniformly crap. Now there may be some who disagree but I can assure you that I have been buying leads, off and on, from every source imaginable for 30 years and they all ****.
So, what’s a good lead? It’s a lead you generate for yourself. One where your face is on the label. Let me explain. Leads are generated through advertising. An ad is shown and if the prospect responds to it, they are sent to what is known as a landing page. That landing page is where you hopefully capture their name and address for future follow up. The landing page should have your brand on it. Your brand is your face, preferably in a short video.
If the idea of starring in your own movies rattles you a bit then you need to get over it. The net is quickly going to video in almost every application out there. To deny yourself a piece of this pie is not advisable. This article is also not about video and I am a little sidetracked talking about it, but a word to the wise, video is in your future.
The process of running some sort of ad or promotion and capturing a prospects email and phone number is how lead generation can work for you.
So let me tell you what is up with taking the trouble to generate leads. It’s because a lead where a prospect has actually requested information is pure gold. This person has not been chased by the traditional lead generation process, whereby they have been hounded by a dozen salesmen by the time you get the lead. That kind of lead is nearly impossible to sell. Rather a custom, self generated lead is pretty much chasing you. When you generate a branded lead like that, the traditional roles of the pursuer and the pursued are actually reversed in your favor.
In order to pull this off, you need a few assets. First you need a website of course. Then you need to generate copy for your landing page, your welcome page and your sales page. Next you will need an autoresponder to collect your prospect information. Then you will need to write a series of emails to handle follow up for your prospects. Lastly you will need to sponsor some sort of regular webcast to continue selling your prospects until they join your opportunity.
Now admittedly that’s a lot of gear to put together. I have a solution but before I reveal it I want to pose a situation to you. Suppose you had 20 or 30 people a day responding to your lead system. Do you think you might sponsor a few prospects into your company every week. Do you realize how much income you would make if you were sponsoring at that rate? Well let me share this with you; there are many networkers who are sponsoring a new person every day using this system.
There is a system and it is a thing of wonder. All the hurdles I mentioned in the paragraph before last are already handled and up and running when you join. The copy is written, the pages are put together, the emails are written and ready to mail and the training about how to generate traffic is extensive and works. There are also weekly webcasts to help your prospects along the path. You can be up and generating leads in a week. If you are working part time it might take a little longer but boy is it worth it.
