How can I become a freelance video editor?
I have a bachelors degree in video communications but I am located in a terrible place for video production. I’ve been sending out resumes and have recently gone to local places offering free editing. it’s frustrating because I need to build my demo reel so I can be hired to edit projects but I can’t do that if I don’t have any projects to work on. I’ve gone to the local Community Access station but they do not have high quality equipment. Any suggestions?
