I want to create a video of the process through which i draw. How can I record it down and speed it up?
I’ve watched videos of people drawing and the work process they go through. In certain parts, they kind of fast forward over the details so that the viewer can just get a sense of what is going on without getting bored. How can I do that? Personally, I am thinking of recording it using a camera and then editing the video with software perhaps. Please walk me through the process.

Recording with a handheld camera..? The quality will **** ********.
Download Fraps, it’s a screen-recording program. Import your clips into Windows Movie Maker, combine into 1 large clip and then cut it apart for the parts you want to fast-forward. Add everything to the timeline and use the Double Speed (or something) effect on those clips.

I do a lot of screencasts for my educational video podcast, and the one I’ve found to be great and easy to use is Total Screen Recorder. The screen recording is rendered as .AVI / WMV / SWF / FLV.
