How do I keep the audio of a video clip and show a photo on iMovie 08?
I am editing a movie on iMovie 08. I have a video clip uploaded. I want to keep the audio of that clip but show a photo for a few seconds and then return to the video clip.
Essentially, how does one split the video from the audio so that the audio can keep running while i interrupt the video/images?

u need to extract the audio from the video.. using e.g xilisoft audio ripper
then mute the video.. and put the pic and video in.. and put the audio as background music
