How can I get the video quality on my Samsung Solstice to improve?
I got a Solstice for my birthday and have been trying to put a video I extracted from youtube on in. I have the format and resolution right, but when I try to play it the video moves slow and choppy. The audio doesn’t even match up. What should I do?

Well, its not the phone… Well, not unless everything records and played is choppy….
I think your problem relies on your converter… Here is what I do…
Down VLC converter for free…. just google it and pick a website
Go to
Download your free video in .MP4 format to your PC…. The first visit is like 10 downloads and subsequent vists are 3 per day… heh its free! Im not complaining. lol
once done, test it out on VLC…. the cool thing about VLC is that is will mirror what the phone will do… Also, in its practical size too if you adjust the view box. So, if its choppy in VLC, it will be choppy on your phone too… good way not to start hammering your phone and assuming something that isnt even the problem
then, transfer it to your phone via USB by simple Copy/paste.
I done this tons of times for myself on Eternitys, Impressions, Solstices, MYthics, Vus, Arenas, Incites, blackberries, etc…..
VLC can even convert your mp4 to whatever you want too… just in case you dont prefer mp4… but, i highly suggest it and I never had choppy videos on the above phones. Good luck
