I have a video to upload but its size is too big. What is the best software to use to reduce the file size?
I can clip the video area and cut some unnecessary time off, especially the beginning and end.

well you can actually do this in windows movie maker (providing you have it)
import it and drag it into the timeline
click save to my computer > fill the details and click next > show more choices> best fit to file size and you can choose the size you need

Converting is one option. The other option is to google ‘Video Compressor’ and any software on the 1st page should do the job. Obviously compressing the footage itself will lower the quality, whereas converting to a different format may not, depending on the current and target format.
