How do you import video from a camcorder to a computer ?
I have a VHS-C camcorder and was wondering how you can capture video from it into the computer? My computer doesn’t have any inputs, such as, composite, component, S-video, so can I hook up the camera using a USB cord?

Best option is to send the tape in to be digitized. StashSpace.Com will digitize your video tape for $7. They host it online for you to edit and create custom DVDs. I highly recommend it. Go to to check them out.
Alternatively you can do it yourself but it will require some new hardware so that your computer can take the input plus a special video capturing device. I’ve done both and the StashSpace option was way easier. They have excellent customer service too so if you have any questions they help you out.
