How do I upload the video from my jvc video camera?
I have a jvc gr-d250us and a firewire cable, I would like to upload the video but I can’t figure out how.

Assuming that you have a firewire port on your PC, and that you have a firewire cable with the correct connectors – connect the camcorder to the PC, and turn on the camcorder; then you can import/download the video from the camcorder by running the video editing program (it should be on the CD that was included with your camcorder). Try these. They are the 2 drivers needed for JVC camcorders…
Windows Movie Maker will work.
All you need is a Firewire cable, XP will recognize it. Pinnacle 10 or Ulead Meadia studio 7.0 will do for editing and stuff. They are better than Windows Media Movie Maker.
