How do i download a video from my digital camera onto my youtube account?

my friend and i made a video of ourselves fooling around in the neighborhood, but idk how to download that from my computer onto youtube.
i have already downloaded the video onto my computer, i just dont know how to, from the file, put it on youtube.
please help
