How can you convert a video clip to a jpeg in a quick and easy fashion?

My mom got a hold of my canon digital camera and took family photos this morning for our Christmas cards. It seems she set the camera to video rather than photo. So, we have 15 or so wonderful video clips that we wanted to be in jpeg format. Is there a quick and easy way to convert a video clip to a jpeg? Many thanks!
