How do I preserve video quality after deinterlacing?
I need to deinterlace a video in After Effects using FieldsKit Deinterlacer. I need to render but if I choose Lossless the file size is bigger than the captured video. Which setting should I use when rendering and preserve video quality? Microsoft DV avi? H264?
After deinterlacing I will apply some color correction. But should I edit first in Premiere (i mean the cuts and stuff) and then deinterlace or deinterlace the whole captured footage?

Don’t deinterlace before you edit. Do all your editing and effects, etc., then export your video. Depending on the software you’re using, there should be an option to export deinterlaced at that point.
